The Road to REBiRTH - DJ Contest is back!
If there’s one thing that shouldn’t be missing from our new home for harder styles, it’s obviously the next generation of DJs! Grab your headphones and finalize your latest tracks because this is your opportunity to secure one of the 21 SPOTS on our lineup! 🤯
After the success of our DJ contest during the last two editions, we once again upgraded our contest to find only the best and most mind-blowing creatures. We’re seeking THREE FEARLESS ACTS to kick off our Mainstage, REBELLiON, and REVENGE stages on Saturday! 😵
But that’s not all – during our immersive REBiRTH Festival weekend, the Road to REBiRTH area will return. This means another 9 (RAW) Hardstyle DJs on Friday and 9 Hardcore / Uptempo DJs on Sunday will get the chance to take over the stage and be part of the kick off of the festival season! 👽

- 9 Hardcore/Uptempo participants will get the chance to perform at our famous 'Road To REBiRTH' stage on Sunday and 25 Hardstyle.com credits!
Step 1: Choose which opening spot you go for! REBiRTH Festival Mainstage (Hardstyle), REBELLiON (RAW Hardstyle) or REVENGE (Hardcore/Uptempo).
Step 2: Make the best mixtape you’ve ever recorded (no longer than 30 minutes), featuring at least 1 of your own produced tracks and upload your mixtape privately on Soundcloud.
Step 3: Write a short motivation for why you should play at REBiRTH Festival 2024.
Step 4: Go to the entry form and fill in your details, the URL to your mixtape, your motivation and a URL to your own produced track and you’re done! The contest runs from 13 January 12:00 to 21 January 23:59.
• Your set must be uploaded to Soundcloud, with a private URL;
• Your set must be 30 minutes long; sets longer than 30 minutes will not be judged;
• Your set must include at least one track produced by yourself;
• Your set must be recorded live, sets made in a DAW or other software will not be judged;
• B2B sets are not allowed. A set by a duo act is of course allowed.
Round 1: After submitting your mixtape, it will be judged by the REBiRTH Festival jury, resulting in a top 20 best mixtapes per opening spot. 20 Hardstyle DJs, 20 RAW Hardstyle DJs and 20 Hardcore/Uptempo DJs. These talents will advance to the next round.
All mixtapes will be judged using an assessment form. We will announce the winners of the first round on 12 February, after which the second round will start.
Round 2: The 20 best-rated mixtapes per opening spot will be uploaded to REBiRTH Festival’s SoundCloud channel after which the public will have a week, until 19 February, to vote for their top three via our website. Audience votes count 25% in the final results, and REBiRTH Festival jury votes (from round 1) 75%. The winners will be announced on 22 February.

- You will play at the ‘Road To REBiRTH’ area on the Sunday of REBiRTH Festival (14-04-2024).

The application form will open on 13 January at noon and close on 21 January at 23:59.
Yes, as long as all conditions are met, anyone can participate.
DJs/Producers playing and producing Hardstyle, RAW, Hardcore and/or Uptempo can participate. Hardstyle participants compete for the opening spot of the REBiRTH Mainstage, RAW participants compete for the opening spot of the REBELLiON area and Hardcore/Uptempo participants compete for the opening spot of the REVENGE area. In the entry form, you can let us know which genre you want to compete for.
Your set should be uploaded to SoundCloud, with a private URL.
Your set must last exactly 30 minutes; longer sets will not be judged.
Your mixtape will be assessed using an assessment form that you can find on our website. In the first round, your mixtape will be judged by the REBiRTH Festival team. In the second round, the top 20 mixtapes will be judged by the audience and REBiRTH Festival. The REBiRTH Festival team determines 75% of the result, the remaining 25% is determined by the audience.
The winners of the first round will be announced on 12 February, all the winners will be informed by email.
B2B sets are not allowed. A set by a duo act is of course allowed.
